Meka Hunter is a mixed-race writer and editor from Winnipeg, MB. She holds a BA in creative writing from the University of Winnipeg, and previously worked for the University’s literary journal, juice, as the co-editor. She loves reading and writing anything dark, disturbing, and thought-provoking. Most often, she splits her time between loving dogs and loving writing—her schedule usually consists of hiding away to write for several hours at a time with a large amount of coffee. Her work can be found in the forthcoming edition of juice and has been shortlisted for the Novel Excerpt Prize with Uncharted.
