This series is seeking meaning in short-length literature. In an age where brisk media equates to derisory content, we aim to change that entirely. At Bay Press’ From the Heartseries strives to provide readers with short, powerful, and eccentric tales that you might find atop a pile of card-stock—one that allows you to fit a publication amidst your breast or back-pocket. Rooted in literary grit and vulnerability, we want words that will stick with an audience long after its presentation, yet are succinct and impactful enough to be consumed in bite-size. Woo us with your laconic prose and pithy poetry. What magic might a reader find in this book that fits so easily into a pocket? Just as its outward appearance is unconventional, so, too, should its inward stature pose.
